The Sunshine Choir is an exciting performing arts experience that provides well rounded, all - encompassing instruction in choral music that prepares participants to give stirring local, national and international performances. Choir members are instructed by professional vocalists, experienced choral directors and accompanied by professional musicians. Award winning performer and music educator Maya Cunningham is Director. Students from all over New York City are invited to audition at the recommendation of their music teachers. These students have demonstrated excellence in vocal music, citizenship and academics. Auditions will be scheduled in June 2012 and rehearsals will begin in July 2012. Auditions and rehearsals will be held at Pearl Studios, 519 8th Avenue, 12th floor, New York, NY 10018.
